Ron Barassi, Robert DiPierdomenico and Max Forster Unite for Peace Through Australian Rules Football

In an extraordinary display of sports diplomacy, Australian football legends, Ron Barassi, and Robert DiPierdomenico with close friend Max Forster embarked on a mission to Israel, supported by the Perez Foundation, to foster unity between Jewish and Palestinian communities. Their groundbreaking initiative culminated in the formation of a unique Australian Rules football team comprised of players from both groups. This team, embodying hope and collaboration, travelled to Australia to compete in the AFL International Cup, an event celebrating diversity in the sport.
