The “Once Were Warriors” have traded their traditional battlegrounds for an epic adventure across the untamed steppes of Mongolia. This extraordinary team of thrill-seekers embarked on a gruelling 490-kilometer journey through some of the most unforgiving terrain on Earth. Their mission? To conquer a landscape where even the toughest travellers dare to tread.
Over the course of this demanding expedition, they pedalled through desolate plains, across jagged rocky paths that provided scarce footing even for goats, and scaled peaks that seemed designed for the skies. The riders faced harsh winds, extreme temperatures, and the constant challenge of finding water in this arid wilderness. The rocky surfaces punished their bikes, yet their determination carried them forward.
The journey was not just a test of physical endurance but also a mental battle. Every kilometre demanded resilience, teamwork, and an indomitable spirit. Yet, through the adversity, the riders discovered the breathtaking beauty of Mongolia’s raw landscapes—the vast, rolling steppes, dramatic mountain vistas, and the serenity of nature untouched by modern life. For the “Once Were Warriors,” this was more than a ride—it was a triumph of human strength and an ode to the unyielding spirit of adventure.
